1986 automatic?

    hi, just wondering if I buy a 1986 automatic,NA, if I would be kicking myself later for the manual- meaning, how much slower/less fun is the auto? of course a manual would be ideal but it (the auto) is $2500 and all it needs is paint-

with that said, I am in the market for a good project car so I decided on the 944- i have time, money, and a backup car, but the porsche would be my main car, thanks

I wouldn't buy an auto, but that is just me.  

I wouldn't buy an auto either, you'll probably regret it later on if you do, just a guess.

hell yeah get it I wish i got an auto instead of a 5 speed, try talking on a cell phone and driving a 5 speed 944, not happening
