1990 964 my baby wont fire *emergency*

Hi all,
 
I was about to drive home from work yesterday. So I fired up my red little baby as usual. Unfortunately it stalled after running for about 1 second. Totally dead after that. It turns on the starter motor, but wont fire at all. There is no fuel pump sound when I turn the ignition switch, but then again I dont remember whether or not I could hear a sound when it was working.
 
Fuel pump?
Fuel pump realy?
Fuel pump related fuse?
Ignition related fuse?
something else?
 
Any help greatly appreciated!

I think you're close with fuel pump related problems. Obviously check the fuse first, then for power in and out of relay.
