Hello all!
I have a 81 924 turbo that I just bought. It hasn't been running for about 5 years. The guy I bought it off of said it needed a new fuel pump and that was it. I just replaced both pumps. My wallet is aching and car will not start. It is not getting voltage to pumps. I temp wired them to get them going now have fuel to fuel dist at least. The car will only start if I put fuel into intake and when that is used up so is its ability to run. When it is running ( for a short time) I can hear turbo and engine sounds well and runs smooth. Will even idle for a short while. I did not pull an injector yet wanted advice first. I did not see wires on injectors. Does the fuel distributor handle the injection? Could there be a bunch of junk in the line by the injector and should I try removing them? How do I go about this. Any and all help would be most appreciated..
