After my car has been running and I''ve parked it for in excess of 30 mins, it refuses to start.  Cranks fine, fuel pump sounds active, but I''m getting no spark.  If I wait for a little bit, it turns on without any problems.  if I push start it, it comes right to life as well.  New spark plugs and cables, but the problem still occurs.  Checked various wires to the battery and starter, everything seems clean and making a solid connection. I''m not a mechanic nor a porsche expert, so I don''t know everything to check that fits the symptoms... Ideas?

If you are able to push start the car then you are getting spark (power to the ignition) so I tend to think it is starter motor related.  Could be a bad starter or something in the starter circuitry causing high resistance when the engine is at operating temp.  I''d remove the starter and have it bench tested by a reputable rebuilding shop and then go from there.

Speed and reference sensors are bad, or the harness to the sensors from the DME

Yea, that''s what I thought...  But it isn''t sparking.  And the starter sounds fine :-/  I could still get it tested just to be sure though.

PorscheDoc... I''ll check that out, thanks.

I would also replace your DME relay at the same time, as it can cause issues like this.
