So a buddy of mine and I picked up a 1987 924s from someone who started to do an engine swap and then for whatever reason didnt finish. Our plan is to reasemble it and trouble shoot problems from there to get it back to good running condition.
In looking at some of the other pictures of 924s' we seem to be missing something in our engine bay. I have posted a pic and circled what we dont have in red. Also I dont know in what order the spark plug wires go into the distributor cap and i have circled that in yellow. We have the book on on the car but there is some grease over the firing order.
I also have a question about the fuel filter. There are two wires hanging down and i think that they connect to the fuel filter but i am in the process of ordering that part i just wanted to make sure that they connect. I will post pictures later.
In addition to that we are missing the lower bolt on the alternator. Does anyone know what size it is?
After we take care of all of that we plan to flush the coolant and oil brakes before we start the car. Is there anyhting else we should dod before we try to start her.

Hmm I have never seen that old of a cruise control module. Interesting. You don't need it.
Firing order as looking at the front of the dist. cap: Cylinders are number 1 to 4, starting from the front and going to the back.
4 2
