911 s versus 4 s

I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra money to purchase a new 911 4S or the 911 S. I do not live in an area with any snow conditions and will only spend the extra money if the driving experience is better. Please let me know the difference. Thank you.

Go for the 4 S.  You'll appreciate it in the rain! No difference with braking, but you can accelerate on a curve and be assured of really good traction.  It's probably safer.  But an extra expense as well.

I agree.  I have a Carrera 2 and love it, but I think the extra money would have been worth it. Realize that the HP rating may be only about 10% additional, but the S motor is alot stronger, even with the 4 wh drive to haul around.  You won't regret it.

It depends on what you want to do with your car. I agree with carsnob and Lee that the 4S launches better and takes curves better. I drive a Targa two wheel drive and it does exactly what I want it to...put a big smile on my face every time I drive it. Good luck!
