hi...could you please tell me how to open the engine compartment on a 1967 912. I just bought one that I am going to put on ebay and was taking pics this morning and couldnt find a latch to open it...thanks..bob

Open the drivers door and look in the jamb. There's a release above the latch.

yea, there both right there in the door jam then engin carpartment is in the back of the door jam you pull the lever and it will open

My mom has a 1969 912 Brown in excellent condition. It has about 35K miles on it. She bought in back in 1979 from her hair dresser for $6,000. Is this car worth anything in today's market? We have no idea on its value since it's the lower end model of the 911's. thanks for you help.

912 values are pretty stagnant. Unless it is pristine, you are still in the 6-8k range.

all depends on condition.. to do a car right you almost have to get the car for free to restore them back to a high standard. In todays Market I see time and time again cars bought for high money that need HUGE amounts of work done to them back up for sale at the high price and then the wheel starts again.. one car Ihave seen now 3 times over 4 years.. each time the only thing different is the price tag..!!
for a 69 it's more like Burgandy 6808 colour very colour I also own one in this colour and this year. I bought mine for $2000 in Fresno and it's been a good project to restore total cost has been £5000 about $8500 and now the engine is another £2500 $4000 and I am about done then.. so if you buy a car for $8000 then add in my figures then you can see why no one does it..
not saying the car is not worth it.. ping up some pictures and lets have alook.. 69 is LWB car and not as many of these about I have a number of 912s and I do love my 69 LWB over the SWB cars.. much more stable when in corners.. like this..
this car is a typical US car as standard no Anti Roll bars are fitted, makes for a more interesting corning...
