Just bought an 88' 944 turbo and I'm in love. Does anyone know what the best replacement 4x6 speaker there is that will fit in the doors w/ power windows. I already have found 2 that don't work.....

Hey Fusion, not extremely schooled about custom speaker dimensions/depth etc. but I discovered while installing my new Eclipse/JL Audio/Kenwood system that the original owner of my 944 had a new pair of aftermarket 4x6 Blaupunkt installed in the doors (so I left them in), they required a slight shim as they sit out approx. 1/8" from factory but he reinstalled orig grilles and they look and sound great as they produce the crisp highs I was looking for to round out the system.
