Hey Y'all.....................greetings from the South!!
Have been milling around on the forum for a few days and really appreciate all of the advice.
I do not presently own a Porsche but have started the research, and I love it. Since budget is fairly open (under $125K), I will be taking my time, joing PCA and volunterring at the Parade in Charlotte this June.
So far, I have got the selection down to following:
997C2S
997TT
GT2/3
I still have to learn the difference between C2S, TT and GT models.
I love to drive and would probably put 12-20K miles on her the first couple of years. I am a little concerned about protecting the exterior from too much road rash, so not sure the type of paint job to look for.
I would also like to head out to some DE events and spend time on the track once in a while.
I have always excelled in my lap times at the public go cart tracks at the amusement parks, so I am hoping I can pick up the track fairly quickly.
Any folks who drive their cars fairly hard could be of a great help to me..............
