Go to Settings > General > Usage > Photos & Camera;
Swipe on the “Camera Roll” entry;
A “Delete” button appears.
(This solution does not work on iOS 7 & iOS 8. It is probably a bug.)

In addition, plug your iphone into your computer and open it via My Computer - then find the photos files. Select all and then delete.

Besides, you can also try iPhone Data Eraser to delete photos from iPhone.

How to delete duplicate photos from iPhone

If you want to clean iPhone photos up, ok, you can tick the targeted ones, and then simply press on button "Delete" to get rid of them. However, this deletion is not perfectly finished, since technology is always developing some data recovery software, such asiPhone Data Recovery, so as to restore deleted files from iDevice, like iPhone, iPad or iPod.No matter what the really reason it is (protecting privacyor setting aside more iPhone space), to permanent erase photos from iPhone, you are recommended to install a third-party software:iPhone Data Eraser. It offers 3 ways to completely wipe out unneeded pictures, which are very easy to handle.
