Default RPM drop on acceleration

I am a new porsche owner---my first one. My 1995 911 993 with 27,000 miles, I have noticed has a 200-300 rpm drop when accelerating in 2nd gear before shifting into 3rd. This occurs at about the 3200 rpm area and occurs in both automatic mode and in tiptronic. Is this normal? Or is there something else going on?

Default I have the same problem

2nd gear and 3rd gear RPM drop at 2300. I have several opinions from service guys on what the problem is. Did you ever figure yours out?

1995 993 cab tiptronic with 57k miles.
