I have a 1964 356 rolling chassis (no engine). I am having trouble locating the V.I.N. # on the car.Anyone out there know where it is located on the car?

on my 1962, it is on a placard, on the drivers side, screwed to front door jamb, only viewable when the door is open. i also think it may be on top of the floorboard hump under the rear seat? go to 356 registry.com...tons of info and pics on where to find vin, engine sns and transaxle sns there,

on my 1961, it is screwed to front door jamb,viewable only when the door is open
