Just picked up my new Cayman S. 07 bassalt black/sand. 18s-which will change shortly. traded my 98 540i after 87 months of daily driving. I was dead set on a new/used M3 until I made the test drove the Cayman S. Slam dunk- Match- Set - Point - Game over. With the E-46 M3 becoming all too familiar around town and the new M3 months away, this was an easy choice. BMW has succeeded in losing another customer with their Bangleized I drive techno-garbage. Give me a driving machine over bells and whistles anytime. The M coupe was another possibility but the cayman S kills it even with the price difference. Thanks again Chris Bangle. I LOVE this car.

I posted a video of my Boxster S on youtube and one viewer posted a reply saying "Girl's car, man drive M3"

Ha ha ha!
I am so glad to read about another guy ditch BMW and pick up the Porsche.
"Girl's car, man drive M3" (I take is as Porsche is a woman's car) what the HxxK is that?
Porsche rule!
Congrats on your Cayman S!

Hi, winchester21, I just came back from the book store, read about an article in "Topgear" Magazine, they compare M3 and Cayman, head to head, of cause, Cayman win.
Check it out the magazine.

There is definitely no substitute! When someone calls it a "girls car", they are likely experiencing a case of "sour grapes". Think about it, a Boxster S has the same performance as the 1969 Lamborghini Muira did when brand new. That is hardly a "girls car".
