I had to post this message to my brothers and sister in arms. I am Skarr, and I love the 914 Porsche. The thing that I find funny about all the Porsche owners that I have run accross is they will see me with a porsche key chain or hat or shirt and say "Oh you have a Porsche?!?", and I will reply "YES, I have a old 74 914 2L that I have restored." Then I get the old "oh  ............it's a 914, nice little car." Do these people not realize that the 914 is one of the best Porsches that they ever built , yes it has it's quircks but then all the Porsches had quircks. The thing that I find funniest is most of these people are driving around old porsches that do not even love or run half as good as mine, Not to mention that with the amount of money that I have in mine I could have bought the same car they have and no one would look at it. The only old Porsches that really turn heads when they look good are the 356, 550 and 914  and the reason is because you do not see them as much. The 912 and 911 come a dime-a-dozen so be proud of you 914 and the next time you are driving it and some one says "hey what kind of car is that?." Hold your head up high and say "Oh that, that is a real PORSCHE, a true classic," and be proud.
