want to get a faster 944
the 2.5L Turbo S (simply "Turbo" after 1989 with a 2.7L) has 247hp stock with the suspension and components to back it up whereas the S2 does not.
Should I go with that, or get an S2 and turbo it?
The S2 has 208hp, and a turbo kit should promise another 50hp on the 3.0L 16 valve motor.
thanks for any help..

It will be less expensive to get a turbo car and tue it if you are looking for Hp. Turbo S cars are starting to get more expensive.

Just FYI, the 89 Turbo was not a 2.7L.  The 89 NA 8V was the only 2.7L engine.

Go with the turbo, it will be much cheaper to get hp out of.
