Love the car.  However options are very expensive.  What options are "necessities" what options are "niceties".  In other words what will I miss by not having.  Also does anyone know anything or have installed aftermarket parking sensors.

Much of that will depend on your personal preference. Some like it bare while others like em fully loaded. What's important to you?

I agree with above. Define what you are looking for? Nav system? Do you do any offroad 4WD? Do you plan to tow with it? What are you comparing it to? What do you currently have that you like or must have?
Gotta answer these questions first and then we can help you.

For a UK purchase I would want Sat Nav, Parking Sensors, Mobile Phone Wiring as a minimum. Full Electric Seats Driver and Passenger with Memory/ Heating  would be my next priority.
