My wheels are old and the black paint has started coming off.Is there a special paint used in refinishing the wheels?I'm not trying to change anything, just want them to look new or close to new.
Thanks..Mc.

The problem is that if the paint is flaking off, its because there is probamly a bit of oxidation attacking the areas wher you have kerbed etc.
For a lasting job, you really need them bead blasted, acid etched, and then bake enamelled.
Other ise just match the paint with something like "Hammerite" and keep on top of it.
