I'm thinking about the detachable hardtop for my 987.  Anyone have any pro or con advice?

Hi the key issue is to have a safe and secure place to store the Hard Top when its not on the car, and you are relying on the ragtop hood for weatherproofing. It is surprising how much room you actually need to do this.  The best way if you dont buy a stand as part of the purchase is to make a frame to store the roof in a vertical rather. than a horizontal position.
Assemble and remove with the car and components clean etc.
