Hi i am writing to ask anyone if it is possible to put a 968 S2 motor it to my 944 and if so what would i have to do to achieve this, eg what do i have to chance if any?

Yes, it is possible, but it will take a good bit of work. You will need the DME and will have to do a custom exhaust for it, but there are several of them in the US and the folks that have done it seem to be happy with the results. Let me know if you want more info on it, but to answer your basic question, "yes". :)

Like Scott said, yes!
This is something that I would like to do myself in the future. The 968 and S2 motors, as you know are both 3.0 ltr 16 valve motors. The 968 has more HP than the S2 (mainly due to the addition of the variocam).
Like Scott stated, you'll want the wiring harness, computer, and also a few other items. It will take an interesting combination of flywheel, clutch, and bellhousing to make it fit.
Go to www.944S3.com if you want to read a little on one person's conversion to a 968 motor.
You will need to also take the transmission into consideration for this swap. What year is your 944? You will want to install a beefier transmission as the standard 944 trans will blow up with 240Hp connected to it. I would personally opt for the 944S2 5speed trans. It will stand up to the punishment, fit in there easily, and still give you an odo/speedo reading if you have a post-85 car. You could install a 968 6speed trans, but those carry a premium, difficult to fit into an early car, and if in a late car you would lose your speedo/odo reading (no provision for this on the 968 trans as it took its readings from the ABS system).

I know guys that use the 3.0lt crank in the 2.5lt knife edeged, but they have to cutomize teh girdle. The whole motor. IDK!!!!!
