My 964 C4 has a hesitation when I depress the throttle hard.  The engine will hesitate or bog for a full second or two then start to accelerate.  It also happens when cruising in gears 2-4.  I also notice an intermittent rough idle.  I have new plugs, wires, caps, and rotors.  The primary distributor belt was replaced last winter.  DME relay and fuel filter on order.  What else could be causing this?

Might want to pull the AFM and check to make sure the potentiometer arm is not riding in a groove on the strip.

If the Air Flow Meter is the culprit can the AFM be repaired or do I have to spend $1279.00 for a new one?  I noticed that my old plugs were white.  Is this a good indication of the AFM making her run lean and causing the hesitations?

There is a really good video on youtube called "Rejuvenating a Bosch Motronic AFM".  I''m pulling mine ASAP to fix it.  Is there anything else I should be looking at?
