i might do some track days with it, but other than that its just for street , any suggestions on companies that make good turbos would be a great help.

I only know of companies who specialize in japanese cars, but i would imagine that they also service porsche...if you hunt around online for Greddy or HKS, im sure they can help you out.

The primary problem in a 944 turbo is what will fit the stock location without a lot of custom fabrication. I know a KKK27 will fit the location and is a pretty good turbo.

You can also hybridize your k26/8 with different compressors and turbines to change performance.

You can also get the 26/8 rebuilt and run  it  at 18 psig.........the turbo will make 450 cfm.
