Direct Satellite Radio (XM or Sirius) in 997/Caymen
Hi,
This is my first post, so I don't know if this topic has been covered yet. Is everyone aware that you can add factory direct (Porsche parts)satellite radio to your '06-up Porsche 997 with PCM radio? This is done using Porschce parts from the Cayenne. Works in the Caymen also. |

Can you elaborate on the cheaper options? I have an 06 911 Cabrio and the dealer in my area wanted over $1K to install XM on PCM. Thanks, Tim

Just had mine installed in my 07' Turbo.
Cost: 610.00 INSTALLED!!! What I just got: http://shop.sirius.com/edealinv/serv...mp;oldParentID= AND http://shop.sirius.com/edealinv/serv...mp;oldParentID Also got the "direct connect" (hard wired into FM verse "over the air"). Could not find a viable option for my iPod...and this is WAY cooler...it's like a self updating iPod...with 164 stations. Had to pay another 240.00 for 2 years of service...but whatever....considering the iPod kit sucked and would have cost me 850.00 to have installed...I'm WAY up on the gig. If you guys are local in LA, Calif. and want to know where let me know. ORIGINAL: Signature Hi, This is my first post, so I don't know if this topic has been covered yet.
