Liquid Applied Tar Sealant - Removal
 

Greetings Detailers,

I recently purchased a 1992 Porsche 968 Cabriolet. What a ride!

On my trip home, I passed thru a construction zone where a crew was filling in cracks in pavement with hot liquid applied tar.

GACK!

Well, I tried to remove as much as possible at the nearest car wash with a high pressure spray. Little to no effect.

Now, the stuff has hardened on the lower quatrer panels and wheelwells.

Can anyone suggest a procedure to remove this gunk?
