About the only thing I can think of is finding a way to separate them by contact, then save them as text files. You could then copy them into MemoPad, or one of the other notepad apps. That would keep them on the BlackBerry, although they would be outside of the SMS app.
And I know there is some tool to transfer contacts and SMS from BlackBerry to iPhone. Maybe it will take less time to complete this task.

With the help of Mobile Transfer, transferring apps, contacts, media and text messages is a lot easier now.
Cellular companies tend to only transfer contacts between phones and leave out the call logs, music, text messages, photos, apps and the videos. iPhone Transfer is a piece of software that will do all that for you.
Transfer more than just contacts: Copy over your text messages, apps, photos, call logs and music between all your devices with a single click.
Transfer to multiple devices: Transfer any data you want shared between different devices such as Android, iOS and Symbian.
Contract phones are also supported: Move your data from old phones to new ones, regardless of which cell service the phones have.
