1986 911 Carrera turbo

I found a 911 turbo with 270,000 miles, maintenance records since new (except for the period between 106,000 and 190,000 miles. everyting has been repalced at least once, clutch X4, transmission rebuilt x2, new struts, new hoses, new cables, new battery, new muffler, air box, etc. etc. EXCEPT NO RECORDS ON AN ENGINE REBUILD, rear seal replaced twice, new valve cover gaskets. The car runs like a top, took it to 6K rpm, sounds great, no rattles, noises etc. Maint. records show oil changes every 3K. Is it possible that this engine can have these many miles without a rebuild? I would appreciate any comments, I'd love to buy this car if I don't have to replace the engine anytime soon. Thanks Bill
