2002 porsche boxster

I have a 2002 porsche boxster with 63000 miles the airbag light is on I took to a porsche dealer and they are telling me the seat belts have to be replaced and harness I never heard off such a thing. Has anyone else run into this problem? Thanks Chris

Not the entire seat belt, just the buckle assemblies, which are electronic. They do go bad and it is a fairly common problem.
