The Macan 2022 is more about refinements than big changes. There’s a new center console design with touch-sensitive controls (never our favourite, although Porsche says these have haptic feedback) centered around a revised and shorter gear selector. The standard 10.9-inch touchscreen PCM5 includes built-in navigation and Apple CarPlay, but no Android Auto compatibility. Although Porsche recently announced an update to its multimedia system with Android Auto, the 2022 Macan will not get the new system. Buyers can also choose from new GT Sport steering wheel options borrowed from the 911. New contrast stitching for the upholstery is also available.



For those 2022 Porsche Macan without Apple CarPlay, it could be activated in 2 options:

1. OEM Apple CarPlay activation by Macan 95B CarPlay Activation code, for the original OEM Apple CarPlay activation, you have to use the Porsche PIWIS3 tester and with PPN online login to activate the feature. The original OEM Porsche CarPlay activated is only 2/3 half screen displayed. or
2. Use Unichip SmartPCM toolkit to activate Porsche CarPlay PCM5.0 Mh2p by USB flasher remotely. With the toolkit, you could also possibly enable Fullscreen Apple CarPlay and Porsche Android auto without affecting the factory warranty.
