Default Which 911 to buy? Need advice

Hi, new member here - want to buy my first Porsche. I am looking at a '87-89, and have looked 3 closely. The first is a black cab, 170K mikes and shows its age - but drives great, and seems meachanically good. Needs lots of cosmetics. The second, 130K miles, coupe (diamond blue) collector owned, very clean. the 3rd is a Blue cab, 90K miles and has been restored, looks new. The prices run from $12-23K, adn I can't decide, I like the black cab, but would need to get lots of work done - seats are ripped, roof works but is faded, paint need to be re-done. the second one seems like it needs nothing and again the 3rd is like new.

Any advise on costs of restoring the older one, any watch outs on these 3? Any sense on prices or sources to find other alternative vehicles?

Thanks

Default 1st porsche:

-- your first porsche should be the lowest-mileage model you can afford (even if that leads to other than 911). believe the autos cited would sour you quickly if not prepared for add'l $ investment...
