Interested in 83 911 SC.. want opinions
 

Hi, all.

Just your everyday midlife crisis guy here wanting to buy what I've always wanted. :) I have the money, I just want to see if I'm getting a decent deal.

The pics show a few flaws... most noticable are the paint chips and bubbling by the front bumber. A hole in the convertible top boot, but I can live with that.

Just looking for something that I'll probably hold onto for a LONG time. something to drive around once in a while on nice days. always been a porsche lover and this seems like a nice vehicle. It says only 70k, but I'd wonder if it hasn't been turned over once already.

I'm open to all comments on the car, especially real world value, the car's integrity (as a whole, I know each car is different), etc. I haven't seen it in person yet, but plan to go see it on Monday, maybe even drive it.

Also, I'm 6'3"... am I realistically too big for such a car?
