Looking for car jack for 2006 Boxster S

Hi, guys, do you know where I can buy a car jack that is low enough to jack up my car when I have a flat tire, I estimated the clearance between the car and the ground is about 2-3/4" when I have a flat. I have 4-3/4" clearance with no flat, assume the car will go down 2 inches during flat. Thanks.

Hi Tin
Long time no hear. From what I know (not a lot) the 996 Jack and the Boxster Jack are the same. My 996 Jack meets your 2" criteria. Have you lost your original jack then?

Hi, Bob, how are you? Porsche model after 2005 does not have a spare tire, therefore, the car does not come with a jack!
A few months ago, when Iwent to work in the morning, 30 second after I came out from my driveway, the tire pressure alarm lite to inform me that I have a flat. I go back to my house and found a small nail in the tire. I call Porsche road side assistance, all they offer was to toll my car back to the dealer and they will change "not fix" my tire. I call the dealer and ask if they have the tire in stock, they don't. So, what is the sense to toll my car back to the dealer and they don't have any tire to replace? I end up using my wife's C230 jack, jack up the car, remove the tire and plug it myself. Since the hole is small, easy fix and I have been driving it since then, that is why I am looking for a jack. Anyone out there know where I can buy one with low clearance?

Hi Tin, the 996 Jack will do the business for you, order one from Porsche or try E Bay.
I'm doing well. The car is a pleasure to drive with the extra HP and the better brakes. It looks good too.
I'll check out a few Porsche Websites to see if I can find you a Jack too!
Regards Big Bob
