new to porsche need advice
HI, a year ago, I bought a 2000 Boxster S to see if I liked ahving a third fun car. Noe I'm hooked bad and want more. I have been looking at 1997 993 Cabriolets and I am thinking about selling the Boxster to get one of these. I am confused over what the nest step for me would be. Should I get a newer Boxster S? Should I buy a newer 911 (about a 2002-3 is my budget, could get a newer if tool a small loan) should I get a 1997 (love the body style) 993? I have the 1997 993 might not blow away my Boxster S as I thought it would?? whats a good next step for a guy like me?

These are great cars. If money is important to you pick up a 1999-2001 911. it is a great car and cheap for what it is. If you are at a dealer drive a Boxter and the new 997 911. The 997 is even better than the 993 or 996 cars which I though were perfect. Good luck to you. Lee |

Iagree completely with Adams. You will get far less car per dollar with a 993 because they are rare and 'collectors" items. 996s are great cars and you can find a real jewel at a good price if you look around.
