1991 Carrera 2
 

I recently purchased a 1991 Carrera 2 which needs some work. Looks like the previous owner's battery died, and the radio is dead. Could it be that, since it lost power, it went into an anti-theft mode? How can I get it back, without having to go to a dealer. I did check the fuse, but the radio doesn't look like it has power, so I don't even have the option of entering a security code. I did locate the radio number but, again, the radio will not power on. Any suggestions/help?

I would start by checking the main radio fuse, then pulling the radio and checking for power at the main harness (I can't remember if there is a tiny fuse on the backside of that radio or not).
