911 powerseat blows fuse is there a manual adjustment?

Does anyone know how to manually adjust a powerseat in a 1997 911 Turbo?
The fuse keeps blowing and I can't get to all the screws to take the seat out without moving it.
Any input is appreciated.

Thanks
Knut

Have you tried oversizing the fuse to just get the movement you want to get the fixings out? If there is a dead short this wont work, but if the motor just needs more power to overcome the fault it might.
Otherwise you are just going have to get inventive on getting to the fixings.

I tried the old paperclip but it quickly started smoking. I was told there is a manual release but can't find it.

You can review your owner’s repair manual, it’s explained there. Sometimes I read auto related topics like Enviro Cars to know about car parts and car repairs.
