928 seat motor

Seat fails to move forward and back, but the back of the seat moves. I am assuming it is the motor.
Any thoughts? Is there a way to manually move the seat until I repair it? Or, should I say, please tell me there is a way to manually move it.

RE: 928 seat motor

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but if the motor is moving the back of the seat, the motor can't be faulty or has it got two motors? It may only be a broken wire, bad connection or faulty switch.

The seat in my 944 is slightly different to the 928 as I recall, but the forward and backward adjustment is manual anyhow. Are you sure the 928 is electric and not manual also?
