Air Condition Defaults to On
 

Hi all,

I just bought a used 1999 Boxster and the air conditioning comes on automatically each time I start up the car. Is there a way to stop this? I need to hit a button down once so that it goes to "Off", and this is kind of annoying.

Unrelated question: it has the stock stereo system. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use it. Does anyone know how to set up presets? Maybe there's a user manual online? My car did not come with the manual.
