Hi,
Little problem...need guidance. Carrera Targa has rear brake light mounted on bracket on the rear window. The adhesive holding the bracket to the window isn't working anymore. Mechanic tried using two-way white tape...didn't hold and we'd prefer a darker color anyway. There must be some type of strong adhesive I can buy which will hold the bracket to the window.
Regarding the light assembly itself (the part of the assembly which connects to the bracket on the window), the black tarry foam/adhesive has become gummy/is pulling apart and probably needs to be replaced.
Ideas appreciated. I don't want to permanently affix the light assembly to the bracket (need to replace bulb at some point). The bracket adhesive needs to be strong enough to hold the bracket with light assembly. Want a clean look. Thanks.
