EIS running RICH

Took my 72 Targa 73eis out of storage this
weekend 5 years. Drained old gas and added
1 gal of new gas. A few cranks to get oil
pumping and it fired right up.
Now I remember the problem I had before
parking it in the garage. It is running too rich.
Some black smoke, won't idle nice, stalls out
and hard to restart.
I only have about 1 hour of running under my belt
with my race/ready 911. What should I look for
to fix?
Are there any adjustments?
Injectors?

RE: EIS running RICH

You need to adjust the CO mixture on the CIS system. You will need a CO tester.

Hi George and welcome to the forum! Your 911 looks good, but why have you had it in storage for so long? And where has the filler cap and light surrounds gone?

Is it possible to "wing it" on the
adjustment? Where is the adjustment?

Is there a choke "enricher" that may be stuck?
It starts cold like a champ.
but not hot.

I moved up to the farm in PA 5 years ago and
havenot the time for the cars.
My 84 corvette is still sitting outside.
At least it is covered.
