interior light trouble

interior light trouble

All interior lights from time to time do not work, My manual does not give a very good diagram of the interior system, switches seem ok acts like I may be looseing a neg. HELP?

Hard to say without knowing the model/year/etc of your vehicle, but usually it is due to the switches in the door jam getting rusty and not springing open when the door opens.

1986 carrera coupe, niether door switch will turn on the lights or can they be turned on by the lens switches--the glove box light will work--where is plug #1 located? lft fender , right or firewall?
