Need Help Battrey Draining

I have a 1990 C4. The battrey keeps draining out on me every 2-3 days.Had the battrey replaced twice, mechanic checked the alternator and says its ok.I am at a loss and have to keep the battrey plugged to a trickle charger when I am not driving the car.Can somebody give me ideas as to what could be happenning and how to diagnose and fix the problem.
I appriciate any help.Thankyou.
Raj

Do all your instrument cluster lights go off after a few minutes on the dash? Sometimes the electronic displays will crap out, and stay on, no matter how long the key has been out of the ignition, which will drain the battery.

Doc,
Thankyou for the tip.I notice that the lights do turn off when I turn them off, however the dial is very touchy and the cluster lights do flicker on and off when I am driving and even when I simply touch the dial.Could this be the problem? If so how do I fix it? would simply changing the dial resolve the problem?
Thank you for your help.

Thats where I would start. I would install a new headlight switch. It may not be all of your problem, but I bet it is part of it.
