Porsche 911 Help HUGELY Needed. Alarm System.

Hello.

I recently bought a 1991 C2 (Carrera 2.) Now, I am not familiar with early 911's, so here is the deal. I just bought the car so I was a little curious and pressed this little black switch down that was right next to the gear shifter (its a tip tronic.) It didn't seem to do anything until I started the car and started to back out. While backing out, the car alarm started to sound off, so I parked the car and turned the car off. The car alarm was still sounding, and I waited inside of the car for the alarm to go off. The alarm went off, but as soon as I tried to re start the car, it wouldn't. The car is locked up, the ignition won't turn over, and the alarm light by the gearshift keeps blinking on and off to show that the alarm is engaged.

So to sum it up, I cannot dis engage the alarm and cannot start up my car. Any help here? So my car is just sitting in a parking lot right now, and if I can't do anything I will just have to take it somewhere. I can see $$$ already, just because I did something stupid..

P.S. The car did come with a Clifford remote control for the alarm system, but it does not to do nothing except entertain me with a light.
