Soft top boot Wont close? Need Help

got a 99 911, the boot wont close all the waywhen the top is down, leaves about a 3 inch gap from fully closing. But when the top is up the boot seals like it should, seeing if anyone is familiar with this problem, I dont want to speed a fortune at the dealer if I can fix it myself. Any info is greatly appreciated.
