It's all a matter of taste - whoever selected these obviously doesn't like boxy shapes and yet if you want a "box" on wheels it's rather hard to avoid the look. I like the looks of the Honda Element alot -- that's not on my list, and the HHR looks good on the street with the right wheels and options, but the Tribeca is just ugly -- not because of the shape but the grill, and the Audi Q7 - yeah, its disappointing -- saw one in Germany and thought it was a lost opportunity for them to do something innnovative. Bland. As to non-boxes shapes, I think most recent BMWs are near ugly. There was a time when Eurpoean cars had sensible functional styling and it was Detriot that used scultured lines and "styling tricks" but now its the other way around. The new CTS is actually a very striking, elemental design but the bimmers have sculpted lines and styling complexities everywhere.

The redeeming part of looking at these cars was the picture of the young lady in a "T" Shirt pointing out that you dont need to wear pants - or knickers for us English.
Happy Christmas Big Bob

I'm a fan of Honda but I would agree that Honda element should really be on that top 10 worst looking vehicles. That was one car I hate on Honda's very own car making.

I agree that a Tribeca is ugly. I'm in my Jeep way up in hard core 4wd country in the Mosca Pass area of Colorado. Behind me is a Tribeca. (This is a little like the "Little Nash Rambler" song we "old folks" remember). I go vertical--he goes vertical. Hmm. I go deep into the fast flowing creek. He follows. Hmm. Now downhill--I can see my feet. There he is right behind me. Hmm. Ha! A mud crossing, I'll shake him here. Nope. Gettin' up there. Single track, snow and ice. What the!? Finally I pull over, he pulls along beside me, I see his wife, two kids and the Golden. He tells me he just bought it and wonders if I know what 4lo is used for? I know he was screwing with me. Right?

Actually I'm now embarrassed with my earlier post[sm=bustedsign.gif], since I part exchanged my S500 and the F150 HD Centenary Edition Truck for a new ML420 CDI with power and torque upgrade. So I gues the ML is a bit boxy too[sm=exactly.gif]

Not only is beatuy in the eye of the beholder, but alot of us would drive car that looked like a '51 Plymouth sedan if it would kcik the ass of anything on the street. Beauty is only skin deep: I prefer to have both beauty and performance but I won't sacrifice the first for the last.

Very true. Some of my cars are more practical/functional than nice looking. The Porsche has both the awesome looks and amazing performance.
