tranny problem
 

hi there, 1st timer, hope you can all be of some help. 1991 928s4. I had the dreaded water in transmission from radiator stuff up problem. Wife drives (used to at least) the car and I was told something was wrong about a month later. Symptom now is when you start up and car is cold the car drives perfectly for about half an hour, then the slipping starts. While im driving its good no slipping its when i take of from the lights or slow down, i have to shift down to get going or i have to rev harder to get into gear. I know my box is sick but how sick? Is this a big problem? I dont want to get sucked in to spending thousands if i dont have to. Thanks for reading my post.
