Default 1995 911 AC Problem

Hello everyone, first time post for me, so thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide. The AC works fine 95% of the time but the thermostat must be set to the coolest setting. When moved even slightly clockwise it begins to blow warm then hot air. A mechanic mumbled something about it mixing the conditioned air with warm air but I didnt pursue an explanation at the time. Now that the weather is getting warmer (South Florida) the AC takes a while to get really cool but eventually does. Any thoughts as to what this is and what the cost to remedy might be?

I believe the 993 had a climate control panel problem. I have not seen it personally though.

As it is stated above I too believe that it is a control panel problem. Either you need to replace it or take a consideration of its repair by an expert mechanic.
