911 Suspension Question

Well I'm new here as a converted Corvette guy. Just bought a 1980 911SC. It's kind of a project but I love already. I noticed after I got it home that it rides low in the back on the right side by about 3/4" measured at the rear bumper. The car has been lowered based on the measurements I took after consulting the service manual I have. I tried adusting the height adjusters, and although it seemed level based on fenderwell measurement, it did not help the rear sag. Any advice as to my next step?

Glad to be here and Thanks

RE: 911 Suspension Question

You might have to re-index the torsion bars. Not a great job to do im afraid.

pete917,

Thanks, I was afraid of that, but wanted some advice before I took on that task.

RE: 911 Suspension Question

I have ended up doing a complete RSR Coilover conversion. I also included RSR Springplates. Im almost finished and I hope this will provide alot more adjustability when done.
