Hello!
I bought a 1999 911 cab about a year ago and am still learning what Porsche is all about.

I was wondering if you have to add oil more than any other cars? Not too many miles ago I just had my oil changed and there is no sign of leaking. I did notice the computer showing me that it is needing some more oil.

Is this the norm?

yes, you'll see a slight usage

 

that's normal, as long as it's not smoking either

 

yeh that normal on all the 911's and 996's,if you drive it hard you'll use even more oil. Well at least mine does!!
