im 17 and just bought a 1982 928 for $1000. I already know it needs new head gaskets, and a release bearing. I am going to replace the clutch and the bearing because it will save time in the long run. The main thing i am curious about is major problems to look for when i dismantle the engine. and any other recomended fixes since i will have the engine dismantled this far. i plan on doing the work my self considering i will be going to college for an automotive service certification so any help would be great.
