I've always wanted an older porshe 911. Well I bought one ..the deal goes through jan3,06. 1986 porshe 911 targa. This brings me to my important question. There was an article,picture in excellence magazine a number of years ago- guestimate 1988-1995 that had a gemballa 911 . It had a huge whailtail and slopenose. I have not seen a nicer one yet..Bottom line I'm looking for a copy of the article. any help would be appreciated...thanks for this great forum..Matt 519 791 0618

Not sure I can help you that much, but go to a really big newstand/magazine retailer and look for a copy of the British publication, "911" magazine.

They have a lot of ads for companies that offer modifcation kits for slope nose and big wing and so forth, as well as retrospective articles on older glamour models. I know they have ads for a bunch of slope-nose coversions in the last issue. Maybe they can be a lead. Regardless, they will get you closer.

Are you looking for the exact body-kit, just a slope-nosed kit or just the magazine artical?
