New to forum have 944s problems

I have an 87 944s and it won't start. It turns over but won't start. Fuel system seems to work fine. There is no spark from the coil. I have replaced the coil, distributor cap, rotor, and ignition relay. When I first got the car it wasn't running correctly so I put it in the shop. They said they redid the heads and timing. However I have found a few things they messed up and didn't hook back up. Within a week of getting it back from the shop it died on me and hasn't started since. So I don't know if they really did anything they said or just rigged it up some how. So could this be a timing problem or would it be something else. I don't know a whole lot about working on cars and living in Oklahoma their are not many options as far as shops that work on Porsche. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Does the tach bounce at all when you are cranking the car? It should have very slight movement. If you replaced the DME relay already, then I would look at the DME itself.
