Hi, I'm a new member and I look forward to learning more from this great forum. I'm new to Porsche as well. I hope to be a new owner in the next few days/weeks. Over the past few months I have been learning as much as I can about the 996 models, years 2002-2004. I recently came accross and excellent '03 CAb, but it slipped thru my fingers as it was sold to someone else - I was heartbroken. However, I have found some excellent '04 C4S opportunities and even an '05 997. I hope this trend doesn't continue since I was targeting ~$45K-$50K and I'm now looking at ~$60-$70K. Anyway, it is very exciting and I appreciate all of the posts that I have seen and I hope to be able to contribute as well.

RE: New member

I've had several Porsches over the years. I believe the number is seven> I've purchased them used as well as brand new. Newer doesn't always mean better.

This most recent purchase is a 2002 and it's my favorite one of all so far!

Good luck and have fun!

Driving Schools?

New to Porsche, the forum and faster FUN! Would any vets of the marque out there recommend SoCal Driving Schools that are not speficic to Corvettes, Toyotas or the like?
